Software Engineering Architect/Engineer

Western Union is seeking a Software Engineering Architect to leverage AI coding agents for building and modernizing global money movement platforms. This role involves guiding AI to develop applications, automations, and tools, collaborating across departments to solve problems, and ensuring the security and reliability of financial transaction systems.

• Guide AI agents to build applications, workflow automations, internal tools, and AI agents
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, risk, compliance, and customer care
• Translate needs into clear specs and end-to-end production solutions
• Review AI-generated code and designs for security, privacy, compliance, and quality
• Design and maintain scalable, secure, fault-tolerant architectures for financial transactions
• Lead architecture reviews, proofs-of-concept, and design discussions
