Senior AI Application Engineer

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join their AI Venture Studio team in Seattle. You will be a hands-on contributor building secure, cloud-hosted AI applications and infrastructure, focusing on agentic AI products and knowledge infrastructure. This role involves designing APIs, services, and deployment pipelines within an agile, sprint-based model, leveraging AWS-native services and cutting-edge AI tools to solve complex problems in drug discovery and development.

• Design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, and application components for AI products
• Develop Python/FastAPI or TypeScript/Node services integrating LLM APIs and enterprise systems
• Build and host agentic workflows using LangGraph and integrate with AWS data stores
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated tests
• Instrument application reliability, latency, cost, usage, and AI model behavior
• Partner with AI Engineers and Data Engineers to drive innovation
