About this role
Flir is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop calibration and test software for infrared sensing systems. You will participate in all project phases, from requirements and design to testing and sustaining engineering. This role requires experience with C++, SQL, and Linux, and a strong understanding of embedded systems.
What we are looking for

- Participate in all project phases: requirements, design, coding, testing, integration, and sustaining engineering
- 5+ years of experience with C, C# and/or C++ programming
- Experience developing in Visual Studio and SQL Server environments
- Understanding of embedded, multi-threaded software design and implementation (e.g., embedded Linux)
- Experience using AI to write or test software in a commercial product
