Senior Software Engineer — Secure Mission Systems

Rackner is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, and deliver secure mission-planning software for a Department of Defense customer. This role offers broad ownership across application engineering, secure CI/CD, containerized deployment, automated testing, cybersecurity, and AI integration, working with experienced teams to deliver complex software.

• Design, develop, test, and integrate new software capabilities
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD workflows using GitLab
• Support containerized application deployment through OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Integrate AI models and support capabilities involving LLM assistants
• Develop unit, integration, and system-level tests
• Apply secure software-development lifecycle practices

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
