Software Engineer I (Onsite)

Join RTX's Core Systems and Libraries team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as an Associate Software Engineer. You will develop and architect software foundations for modern aircraft, working on safety-critical avionics platforms using C++ and adhering to DO-178 certification standards.

• Develop architecture and design of core software components for avionics systems
• Work across the full software lifecycle for safety-critical software (DO-178)
• Develop and verify software using modern C++ and object-oriented design
• Perform certification efforts and engage with customers and regulatory authorities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, leadership, and customers
• Develop DO-178 certification artifacts, including DAL-A deliverables
