About this role

RBC Capital Markets is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and scale core features for an internal analytics platform. You will work across the entire stack, from frontend dashboards to backend data services and AI integration, collaborating closely with traders and portfolio managers to develop tools that directly impact trading decisions.

What we are looking for

Build and own features end-to-end across Next.js frontend, Node.js/Express backend, and Python/FastAPI AI service layers
Design and implement real-time data flows using WebSockets, Kafka, and streaming AI responses
Develop rich, data-dense UIs with interactive charts, dashboards, and a conversational AI assistant
Architect and maintain shared packages within a Turborepo monorepo
Integrate with capital markets data infrastructure including KDB+/Q and time-series data pipelines
Ensure production reliability with Kubernetes deployments and observability tools
