About this role

BD is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Connected Care team in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on building and maintaining platform infrastructure and products that integrate EHR and cloud applications, requiring expertise across the full stack to create scalable distributed solutions. You will architect systems, develop APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.

Architect and guide building end-to-end systems optimized for performance, scale, and reliability
Develop platform SDKs and RESTful APIs
Implement CI/CD pipeline for efficient delivery and updates
Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK or Terraform
Experience in building large-scale software applications in healthcare
Experience in leading engineers, planning and execution of deliverables
