Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and shape the architecture for Penn Mutual's Brokerage and RIA platforms. You will lead complex initiatives, influence technical decisions, and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on in solution delivery. This role is crucial for defining technical direction, establishing standards, and ensuring alignment with business needs and long-term technology strategy.

• Define and drive technical direction and architecture for Brokerage and RIA platforms
• Architect complex solutions spanning multiple applications and services
• Lead major cross-team technical initiatives from design to adoption
• Establish and drive adoption of reusable engineering patterns and technical standards
• Mentor Senior Software Engineers and develop technical leadership capabilities
• Deep expertise in AWS serverless and cloud-native data architecture
