Software Engineer

Highmark Health is seeking a Software Engineer to join an agile team building scalable software applications. You will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to execution, using modern technologies and design patterns. This role requires a strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns, with proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and Java.

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications
• Design and write code adhering to coding standards and perform code reviews
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning
• Mentor other associate software engineers
• Build complex scalable software applications across all digital channels
• Utilize modern technologies and design patterns
