Intermediate Software Engineer

Axos Bank is seeking an Intermediate Forward Deployed Engineer to rapidly build and deploy software solutions that address operational challenges. This high-autonomy role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand workflows and then developing automations, internal tools, and AI-driven logic, often within days.

• Partner with business/operations stakeholders to map workflows and identify automation opportunities
• Design and build production-grade internal applications and dashboards
• Architect and maintain workflows for data orchestration and system integrations
• Integrate LLM/AI components into operational workflows
• Design and consume APIs to connect internal tools with core banking and third-party systems
• Own solutions end-to-end from prototype to maintenance
