Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

GitLab is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to join their remote team in the US. This role focuses on strategic customer outcomes, AI adoption, and direct product contributions, blending field engineering with product engineering discipline. You will work closely with customers to resolve adoption blockers, contribute production-quality code, and translate field learnings into product improvements.

• Contribute production-quality code to GitLab's product and adjacent systems
• Develop bug fixes, features, integrations, tooling, and performance improvements
• Engage with strategically important customers to resolve adoption blockers
• Diagnose complex problems across GitLab product, customer architecture, and cloud environments
• Drive adoption of GitLab Duo Agent Platform and resolve AI adoption blockers
• Create technical narratives and contribute to industry thought leadership
