Senior Flight Software Engineer

IonQ is seeking a Senior Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the software that operates their satellite fleet. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration, lead code reviews, and mentor teammates. This role offers direct ownership of flight software and a chance to contribute to the world's first quantum-secured space network.

• Design, develop, and maintain flight software for satellite constellations
• Collaborate with EE, FPGA, and ground software engineers
• Lead code reviews and mentor teammates
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including live on-orbit operations
• Experience with real-time embedded systems and hard real-time software

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
