Software Engineer

Join Boyd Thermal by Eaton as a Senior Software Developer to work on commercial thermal and fluid simulation software. You will tackle a broad range of tasks, from GUI development to solver physics and build engineering, often within the same month. This role is ideal for an experienced generalist who can independently define and build solutions to complex, loosely specified problems.

• Develop desktop applications and simulation software using C#, Python, C++, and C
• Work on GUI, solver physics, geometry, meshing, and build/release engineering
• Own the application layer, interop boundary, UX, and packaging for a new network flow solver application
• Contribute to solver and numerics work, main desktop application, and native extension modules
• Engage in cross-platform porting efforts, including a Linux port of the product
• Utilize and integrate AI development tooling in daily workflows
