Software Engineer

American Century Investments is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to join their Investment Technology team in Kansas City. You will build and deliver software solutions for risk management, investment analytics, and portfolio operations using modern engineering principles and cloud-native AWS tools. This hybrid role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

• Develop ETL pipelines, data analysis applications, and microservices
• Utilize Python, Java, SQL, and AWS technologies
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Architects
• Work within an Agile development framework
• Focus on investment management, risk, and analytics applications
• Requires 5+ years of application development experience
