About this role
KBR is seeking an experienced Ground Software Systems Engineer to perform SETA functions for a Systems Program Office within the intelligence and national security communities. This role involves full lifecycle software procurement, from requirements development and design analysis to coding, verification, and installation, with a focus on DevSecOps for cloud deployment. You will provide expert analysis and recommendations for ground command and control operations, maintenance, and long-term supportability, while tracking development issues and assessing risks.
What we are looking for
6- Perform SETA functions in a Systems Program Office
- Ground system command and control software requirements development, design, coding, and verification
- Full lifecycle software procurement from requirements to installation
- Familiarity with DevSecOps for cloud deployment
- Analyze computer architectures (hardware and software) for ground operations
- Track software development issues, assess risks, and develop burn-down plans
