Software Engineer I (Onsite)

RTX is seeking an embedded software engineer for their Raytheon Missiles & Defense division in Woburn, MA. This role focuses on software and firmware design, development, integration, and testing of real-time embedded solutions for the AN/TPY-2 Program Protection Engineer position. The engineer will employ Agile development techniques on embedded systems, working with C++, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop and deploy critical capabilities to the warfighter using Agile techniques
• Involved with software and firmware design, development, integration, and testing
• Focus on overall system integrity and hardened software applications
• Utilize C++ on Linux and other real-time operating systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Python
• Requires an active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship
