Senior Software Engineer

Carbon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build high-impact, customer-facing web applications and modern APIs. This role involves scaling web-to-backend systems using GCP and modern databases, with a focus on React expertise for complex, data-heavy interfaces. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with product managers, and mentor junior engineers.

• Design and ship customer-facing web applications integrating with core services
• Build modern REST and gRPC APIs for web applications and platform capabilities
• Scale web-to-backend systems using GCP and scalable database architectures
• Apply deep React expertise to complex, data-heavy interfaces
• Own features end-to-end from design through production
• Collaborate with product managers and mentor junior engineers
