About this role
CarMax is seeking a Software Engineer II to design and build web applications supporting customer service and collections associates. You will develop responsive user interfaces, middle-layer services, and APIs, integrating with enterprise systems like CarMax Auto Finance. This role involves the full software lifecycle, from design to production support, with a focus on improving application performance and usability.
What we are looking for
6- Design and build web applications for customer service and collections
- Develop responsive UIs and middle-layer services integrating with enterprise systems
- Build and maintain APIs and integration services
- Support the full software lifecycle including design, development, testing, and support
- Proficiency in Angular, C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices
