About this role

General Motors is seeking a Robot Application Software Engineer to enhance their autonomous mobile equipment (AME) data platform and developer tooling. This role involves building scalable data portals, cloud infrastructure, and supporting operator-facing GUIs for robotic systems in production manufacturing environments.

What we are looking for

Develop and enhance AME data platform, including data portals and dashboards
Build scalable cloud-computing and data-pipeline capabilities
Support OTA and ROC integration for robot software release data
Maintain and improve production data infrastructure across live manufacturing plants
Support AME GUI development for operator-facing tools
Partner with teams to scale AME software and data capabilities
