About this role

Join WEX's Mobility Engineering team to build mission-critical backend services and APIs for their fuel card platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and distributed systems using modern cloud-native technologies like Java, Python, AWS, and containerization.

What we are looking for

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
Build and enhance microservices and distributed systems
Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL
Develop solutions using Kafka, Elasticsearch, and AWS
Contribute to cloud-native architecture and platform evolution
Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
