Senior Software Engineer

Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an agile team building scalable software applications. You will take an enterprise-wide architectural view, contributing to all aspects of the software build process from idea generation to technical design and development using modern technologies.

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications
• Write code adhering to coding standards and perform code reviews
• Explore and implement appropriate technical solutions
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning
• Mentor other software engineers
• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using React, Python, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL
