Software Engineer I (Onsite)

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their Collins Aerospace team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role focuses on developing real-time embedded software for flight control systems, offering a great opportunity for new graduates to contribute to next-generation aircraft platforms. You will work within an agile team, develop software requirements, implement code, and test solutions in a safety-critical environment.

• Develop real-time embedded software for flight control systems
• Implement and test software requirements in a safety-critical environment
• Design and certify next-generation avionics solutions
• Collaborate with systems and hardware teams
• Gain experience with DO-178B/C certification processes
• Utilize C++ and C programming languages
