About this role

BorgWarner is seeking a Software Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in C++ to join their team in Bengaluru, India. This role focuses on testing embedded software for automotive systems, including creating test specifications, implementing and executing tests, and performing error analysis according to standards like Automotive SPICE and ISO26262.

What we are looking for

Review and analyze software unit design, architecture, and requirements
Create test specifications for unit and integration tests (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262)
Implement, execute, and document static and dynamic software tests
Perform error analyses and evaluate test results
Develop test strategies and automation solutions
Experience with embedded software testing and microcontrollers (Aurix preferred)
