Senior Software Systems Validation Engineer

Zipline is seeking a Senior Software Systems Validation Engineer to lead the end-to-end evaluation of their autonomous drone delivery system's software. You will bridge Systems Engineering and Software Development, defining validation strategies and ensuring software performance, reliability, and safety from simulation through flight testing.

• Define system-level validation strategy for software performance, reliability, and safety
• Design, implement, and execute validation scenarios from simulation to flight testing
• Build metrics, visualizations, and automated tools to reveal capability changes and regressions
• Set validation evidence and exit criteria for release and deployment decisions
• Debug failures across simulation, hardware, firmware, and software
• Partner with teams to increase automated validation coverage and efficiency
