Staff Software Engineer, Onsite Customer Growth

Attentive is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for their Onsite Customer Growth team. This role involves defining technical architecture, leading cross-functional strategy, and addressing complex engineering challenges to enhance customer engagement and list growth on client websites. The engineer will build scalable backend services and mentor other engineers.

• Define and own technical architecture for the Onsite Growth platform
• Lead cross-functional technical strategy with product, design, ML, and data science
• Address systemic engineering risks like reliability and scalability
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and user-facing product capabilities
• Improve system observability, resiliency, and performance
• Mentor and develop other engineers, fostering a strong engineering culture
