Software Engineer I (Onsite)

RTX is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join the Tactical Situational Awareness group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This entry-level role focuses on designing, developing, and integrating next-generation avionics systems to enhance pilot awareness and operational safety. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions in an Agile framework.

• Design, implement, and evaluate software in C++, Java, and Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional research teams
• Implement requirements, detailed design, and verification
• Work within an Agile software development cycle
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM discipline
• U.S. citizenship required
