Lead Software Engineer

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Developer Workbench team, focusing on enhancing the developer experience for over 11,500 engineers. You will be a technical anchor, driving architectural decisions, and guiding the evolution of a unified developer platform that integrates various tools and AI-augmented capabilities. • Serve as technical anchor, setting engineering quality standards and driving architectural decisions
• Design, build, and maintain core components of the Developer Workbench platform
• Lead technical direction and roadmap for the Developer Workbench
• Own and advance integration of software engineering tools across the development lifecycle
• Drive adoption and advancement of AI-augmented development capabilities
• Define and champion instrumentation and metrics for developer productivity and platform health
