Howden Hellas is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain internal applications, system integrations, and data pipelines supporting insurance operations. This role involves developing solutions using Python and modern software engineering principles, while also supporting existing C#/.NET applications and optimizing data pipelines.

What we are looking for

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Python
Support, maintain, and progressively modernize existing C#/.NET applications
Design and implement integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms
Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines
Work with SQL Server and other data platforms
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
