About this role

DriveWealth is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale core brokerage account systems. This role focuses on customer onboarding, KYC, compliance, and lifecycle management, integrating with various financial systems. You will collaborate with product, compliance, and risk teams to translate complex requirements into robust backend solutions.

What we are looking for

Design and deliver backend Java services for the Party & Account System
Build and maintain REST services and Kafka-driven asynchronous processors
Own integrations with downstream clearing and reporting systems
Partner cross-functionally to translate regulatory requirements into system behavior
Monitor production systems and diagnose latency, throughput, and resiliency issues
7+ years of experience building backend systems in Java with Spring Boot 3
