Fullstack Engineer

Northwestern Mutual is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join their Digital Platform organization. You will build, support, and enhance an internal messaging platform, working with integration services, APIs, messaging technologies, and cloud solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across web development, backend services, automation, CI/CD, and platform engineering.

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support software applications and platform services
• Build and enhance solutions using Java, Node.js and/or Kotlin
• Develop and support secure REST services, web-sockets, and client applications
• Work with highly available data-integration services and message queue technologies
• Design and support solutions utilizing relational and NoSQL databases
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers in an agile environment
