Software Engineer

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and evolve secure communications products. This role offers exposure to the entire solution, including software, Linux, networking, and system-level technologies, with opportunities to implement new capabilities, modernize existing ones, and troubleshoot complex challenges. The position is based in Symonston, Australia, and requires Australian citizenship.

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and document software capabilities
• Contribute to product development, modernization, and new feature development
• Work across multiple solution layers to improve performance and reliability
• Partner with systems, test, and support teams to resolve technical issues
• Participate in technical reviews, design discussions, and code reviews
• Share knowledge and support less experienced engineers
