Software Engineer I (Onsite)

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their Advanced Products and Solutions team in McKinney, TX. This entry-level role focuses on designing, developing, and testing software for next-generation EO/IR systems in aerospace and defense applications. The position requires C++ and Linux experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. security clearance.

• Design, develop, and debug C++ software for real-time Linux systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless software integration
• Implement and optimize software algorithms for mission-critical applications
• Perform integration testing with hardware
• Write and maintain software documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
