Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Match Team

Enigma is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join their Match Team. This role focuses on architecting, building, and managing critical engineering systems for customer-facing data products, specifically improving search and retrieval experiences at scale. You will work on high-throughput search APIs, indexing pipelines, and distributed systems, with opportunities to evaluate and evolve the search technology stack.

• Build scalable, highly-available, high-throughput systems in cloud environments
• Design and build low-latency, high-throughput search APIs and indexing pipelines
• Evaluate and evolve the search technology stack
• Solve problems with containers, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure as code
• Lead end-to-end work from design to productionization
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and client stakeholders
