Senior/Staff Backend Engineer, Finance

Fora is seeking a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer to join their Finance Pod in New York City. This role focuses on building and maintaining complex systems for advisor payments, including designing scalable solutions for accurate and transparent payouts. You will collaborate with Product and Ops teams to enhance financial data visibility and integrate with payment processors.

• Design and implement scalable systems for advisor payments
• Own end-to-end advisor payment system, including booking data ingestion, commission collection, and payouts
• Collaborate with Product and Ops to bring financial data to life
• Integrate with payment processors like Stripe
• Build and evolve services for payout logic, reconciliation, and financial platforms
• Focus on performance, architecture, data modeling, and transactional reliability
