About this role

Valeo is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to the development of Software-Defined Vehicles. You will gain hands-on experience in designing advanced architectures, developing AI-enhanced in-cabin experiences, and integrating software with automotive hardware in an Agile environment.

What we are looking for

Assist in design and development of C++ middleware, APIs, and OS components for Software-Defined Vehicles
Implement, test, and debug software using C/C++ and Python on embedded and Linux platforms
Contribute to building backend services and programmable interfaces for AI-enhanced user experiences
Integrate smart algorithms with physical automotive hardware
Explore and leverage AI tools to optimize CI/CD workflows and automated testing
Learn and apply automotive safety standards like ISO 26262
