Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native microservices for Western Union's digital platform. You will own services, ensure architectural excellence, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with distributed teams to maintain high standards of reliability and performance.

• Lead design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native microservices
• Serve as a hands-on technical expert and service owner
• Partner with distributed engineering teams on reliability and performance
• Develop and implement new software, optimize existing code
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution
• Provide coaching to junior engineers
