About this role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to plan and deliver custom in-house software and hardware tools for Implantable Device Firmware projects. You will manage project delivery, report progress, and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for

Develop, maintain, and update software from requirement specifications
Debug, troubleshoot, and isolate software problems
Develop, test, and document design concepts
Experience with Firmware/Software full cycle development
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and C#
Experience with low-level real-time system development
