About this role

FIS is seeking a Mainframe Software Engineer Lead to join their team in Atlanta or Columbus, GA. This hybrid role involves full lifecycle software development, including design, coding, testing, and maintenance of applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, advise on development standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Design, code, debug, maintain, test, and validate applications
Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new ones
Advise leadership on development and infrastructure standards
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle using Agile Scrum
Provide expertise and advice to software engineers
