Software Engineer, Backend (Remote)

Join Cisco's Time Series Data team to build and maintain the core infrastructure for Cisco Meraki's telemetry data. You will design, develop, and scale distributed backend systems using C++ in a Linux environment, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability. This role offers the opportunity to work on petabytes of data powering critical customer insights and product features.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable distributed enterprise software solutions
• Develop backend components using C++ in a Linux environment
• Focus on reliability, performance, scalability, and observability
• Work with distributed systems, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and SQL databases
• Experience with C++11 or newer standards
• Experience with distributed systems analysis and debugging
