Principal Ride Control Software Engineer (Controls Automation)

Walt Disney Imagineering seeks a Principal Ride Control Software Engineer to design, implement, and validate fail-safe motion control systems for theme park attractions. This full-time role involves defining system architecture, specifying safety-critical software using real-time operating systems, and integrating/testing human-rated control systems globally.

• Define, analyze, and validate deterministic solutions for large-scale, fail-safe motion control systems
• Specify, design, and implement safety-critical control software using real-time operating systems
• Install, integrate, and test high-capacity, human-rated control systems
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• Expertise in C++ and software development tools
• Ability to present ideas and solutions to executive leadership
