Senior Software Engineer

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Next Edge team, focused on transforming core payments technology and advancing cloud-first strategies. You will design and develop internal platforms, backend services, and engineering tools to enhance developer productivity and accelerate software delivery within the payment ecosystem.

• Design, develop, and support internal platforms, microservices, and engineering tools
• Build high-quality, maintainable code and automated tests
• Develop backend services using Golang, Java, and gRPC
• Contribute to software architecture and design decisions
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements
• Support and guide less experienced engineers
