As a Software Engineer at HPE, you will design, develop, and test system software and networking infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and represent the software engineering team in project phases. This role requires strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with networking protocols.

Design enhancements and programming changes for systems software and networking infrastructure
Analyze design and perform coding, programming, and integration activities
Write and execute comprehensive test plans, debug and resolve code issues
Collaborate with management and development partners on software systems design
Proficient in C/C++, data structures, algorithms, and Linux/FreeBSD
Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and Layer 2 switching technologies
