Ground Software Engineer II, Arc Vehicle

Inversion is seeking a Ground Software Engineer to build and maintain mission control software, telemetry processing pipelines, and data visualization tools for their Arc vehicle reentry systems. You will develop user interfaces and backend applications, define communication protocols, and support real-time operations. This role requires proficiency in Rust and Linux, with a focus on reliability and low-latency systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend architectures and telemetry parsers
• Build reliable, low-latency operator displays and data visualization interfaces
• Develop and deploy automated software tools for simulations
• Define and implement communication protocols (JSON, Protobuf, YAML)
• Build and maintain high-rate time-series databases
• Integrate ground station software interfaces for RF hardware and antennas
