Software Engineer

Kyndryl is seeking a Senior Engineer for Safety Certification to join their mainframe modernization mission. You will be responsible for software verification, validation, certification, and compliance for safety-critical embedded software programs in Aerospace & Defense, Industrial, Medical, and Automotive domains. This role involves generating certification evidence, ensuring requirements traceability, and collaborating with global teams.

• Execute software verification and validation per DO-178C standards
• Perform requirements-based testing and verification
• Review High-Level and Low-Level Requirements
• Support traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and verification
• Conduct static analysis, code reviews, and structural coverage assessments
• Create and maintain certification evidence and compliance documentation
