Principal Software Engineer – Next-Generation API & AI Platform Architecture

SpyCloud is seeking a Principal Engineer to architect and develop next-generation data and intelligence APIs. This hands-on role focuses on building scalable, observable, and evolvable API platforms that support high-throughput, agentic workflows, and external integrations. You will define API contracts, build production services, and lead technical direction in distributed systems, data platforms, and ML integration.

• Architect and implement customer-facing data and intelligence APIs
• Define and enforce API contracts for low latency, high throughput endpoints
• Architect service layers supporting agentic workflows and ML model exposure
• Design and implement service layers on top of systems of record
• Design high-throughput, low-latency services on AWS
• Serve as a senior architectural voice and mentor engineers
