Staff Software Engineer, Backend

Archer is seeking a Staff Software Backend Engineer to build and scale the core logic, streaming pipelines, and data layers for their real-time AI tracking platform. This role focuses on backend service architecture and data engineering, ensuring high-frequency telemetry data is ingested, modeled, and served to downstream applications and AI models.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems, microservices, and APIs
• Implement stateful stream-processing applications for telemetry and event data
• Architect robust data models for low-latency writes and fast real-time queries
• Collaborate with frontend and AI/data science teams
• Participate in full software development lifecycle including testing and code reviews
• Investigate, debug, and optimize application bottlenecks and performance
