• Own and evolve key pillars of Remitly's core transaction platform
• Lead design and delivery of complex, multi-engineer initiatives
• Improve accuracy, latency, and reliability of delivery estimates using ML
• Build and operate high-throughput, low-latency distributed backend systems on AWS
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for the team
• Utilize and guide others on responsible AI-assisted development
