Engineering Manager, People Applications

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the People Applications team, focusing on building and scaling products that support the entire employee lifecycle. This hybrid role involves managing a full-stack engineering team, driving technical vision, and overseeing the development of core People Application experiences, including AI integrations. The ideal candidate will have experience in people management, software development, and distributed systems design.

• Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of full stack engineers
• Define architectural roadmap for the team
• Oversee development of core People Application product experiences
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders
• Establish best practices in development processes, testing, release management, and monitoring
• Leverage AI and automation to improve developer velocity and business outcomes
