Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

General Motors is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain applications for their Product Validation, Safety & Quality IT organization. This role involves hands-on development across the full stack, from Java/Quarkus/Spring Boot microservices and React/Next.js portals to PostgreSQL databases and Databricks data workflows. You will also mentor junior engineers and ensure application quality and reliability.

• Design and build back-end microservices using Java (Quarkus/Spring Boot) with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Develop front-end features using Next.js/React and TypeScript
• Build and maintain Databricks data workflows for reporting and dashboards
• Manage PostgreSQL transactional schema evolution with Liquibase
• Write clean, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews
• Diagnose and resolve issues across services, portals, and data pipelines
