Frontend Software Engineer — Secure Mission Systems

Rackner is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to build secure, interactive software for a Department of Defense mission-planning and decision-support platform. This primarily remote role requires translating complex data into responsive user experiences using React and TypeScript, with periodic onsite collaboration in Laurel, Maryland. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to secure frontend development, API integration, and data-rich applications.

• Build interactive frontend features using React and TypeScript
• Translate complex mission and technical information into clear workflows
• Integrate frontend components with APIs and backend services
• Support data-rich, map-based, and decision-support application features
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional engineering teams
• Participate in periodic onsite sprint planning in Laurel, MD
